Shipping & Returns Policy

In order to provide you with the best possible customer service, please provide us with complete billing and shipping information.  All orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt and shipped within 1 week of receipt.  If you need an item shipped A.S.A.P., please email or call us and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.  We strive to stock a majority of the products offered on our website, allowing you to receive your merchandise in a timely manner.  However, there may be rare occasions, which are out of our control, when items are not immediately available for shipment.  In the event of a backorder or discontinued item we will contact you within 48 hours and offer options to get your order filled completely.  Please contact us before you order if you have any concern on sizes.

 

Shipping for the Continental U.S.A.
Free shipping via UPS Ground within continental United States applied on orders over $100.00 (excluding tires and specified items).  Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. occupied territories will be sent via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail.  Please contact us for shipping charges. Tire Shipping Charges - $10 for 1 tire, or $18 for the pair.

 

Taxes 
Kentucky customers are charged a 6.0% tax rate on the order total.

 

International and APO/FPO Military Shipping Policies
APO/FPO and International shipments are not eligible for the free shipping offer.  We are able to offer U.S.P.S. shipping to most APO/FPO and International customers.   Any duties and taxes imposed at the border are the responsibility of the customer.  APO and FPO military forwarding addresses are subject to U.S. Postal Service mailing fees. 

 

Methods of Payment 
The prices displayed on our Web Site are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are valid and effective only in the U.S.   We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards, as well as Visa and MasterCard debit cards.  We also accept PayPal. You can also print out the contents of your shopping cart and mail it to our address accompanied by a personal check or money order.  We cannot guarantee all items be in stock for mail in orders.  No C.O.D. service is available.   Pricing errors, Omission prices and availability are subject to change without notice.  Nelson Powersports reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and change or update information without prior notice, including after an order has been submitted.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.  If you have any questions please contact our Customer Service.

 

Direct Return Policy 
Nelson Powersports will exchange or refund any returned merchandise that is new, unused, never installed, and without damage to the manufacturer’s packaging within 30 days of the receipt. CLOSEOUT ITEMS, ELECTRICAL ITEMS and SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS may not be returned or exchanged for any reason.  Any merchandise returned for a warranty claim is subject to the manufacturer’s guidelines and not Nelson Powersports‘.  Often it may be faster for you to return the item directly to the manufacturer for inspection.  Nelson Powersports is not responsible for original or return shipping costs.  All refunds are subject to a 15% restocking fee. There is a $5.00 flat shipping fee on all exchanges.  Items sent to Nelson Powersports C.O.D. will be refused.   All returns or exchanges must have a return authorization number.  Please call one of our representatives or email us for details.
